Collaborative work, as a pedagogical approach, makes it possible to develop team tasks, enabling students to face complex challenges. It enables co-operation, communication, the development of social skills and peer learning in the form of projects and/or small group discussions, problem-solving and practical activities. The aim of this study was to assess student satisfaction with the implementation of a pedagogical practice, the interview, in which, in a semi-structured way, they had to apply and integrate the syllabus contents of the Introduction to the Profession Curricular Unit, taught in the 1st year of the Physiotherapy Degree Course at the Polytechnic Institute of Health of the North. Of the 203 students enrolled in the course, 135 made up the study sample. With regard to satisfaction with the interview, 95 per cent (n=128) of the students self-reported that they were very satisfied or satisfied with this teaching practice. This data seems to indicate that the students self-perceived the interview as an innovative learning dynamic.
