This study presents an artistic project implemented by students of the 3rd Cycle of Basic Education, within the scope of the visual arts, articulating the artistic, scientific, social, and ecological dimensions. The theme of the project proposes an intervention/transformation of the places we inhabit, through reflection on the idea of city and urban space, as places of identity, habitability, and collective sustainability, considering the inter-relationships between the physical, social, and affective dimensions. Through research and debate, the aim was to generate a multidisciplinary perspective, converging with references from the field of arts, architecture, geography, sociology, and environmental sciences. Subsequently, based on the shortcomings of the city identified by the students, the places were photographed in order to implement three- dimensional drawings. Using digital 3D modulation tools, the aim is to draw in the space of virtual reality, through the application of specific software, which served as a tool for the development of computational thinking and its application to three-dimensional drawing. The application and importance of computer technologies in the mediatisation of the programmatic and educational contents with the teaching/learning processes in visual arts is demonstrated.
