“b-Mat@plicada" is a Mathematics course in b-Learning designed for students of the School of Technology and Management - Polytechnic of Porto. It consists of explanatory videos and quizzes on real functions of a real variable, differential calculus, integration methods, and matrix calculus. Used as a complement to face-to-face classes, the main objective of this course is to utilize the benefits of e-Learning technology to assist students in learning Mathematics and overcome the difficulties they have demonstrated in recent years. The first 9 explanatory videos of the "b-Mat@plicada" course were created in 2015 and evaluated by 89 students after four months of operation. The feedback was very positive and not only confirmed the need for the course but also allowed for adjustments in the strategies for developing the next videos. Currently still in operation with 38 explanatory videos, the course continues to be a helpful resource for students and proved to be even more useful during the period of confinement resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Various experiments and studies with the "b-Mat@plicada" course videos have been conducted since its first year of creation. This has allowed for interesting conclusions to be drawn regarding students' attitudes towards the use of videos in learning Mathematics, as well as continuous improvement of content quality based on their feedback.
