Abstract

The Polytechnic of Porto (P.PORTO), aware of its mission of inclusion, equity and commitment to the community it serves, has been over time implementing a set of initiatives, psychosocial welfare measures and technical assistance in order to promote the equal integration of students whose functional diversity impacts on their academic performance. Prioritizing in its action the promotion of academic success, the personal, social and professional development of the entire student population, P.PORTO designed in 2019, the Program P.PORTO + inclusive , implemented through its Office of Academic and Professional Integration (GIAP), and that covers the various agents and the various stages of the academic path, namely: 1) Reception and inclusion of students with special educational needs; 2) Awareness of Teachers in the format "Conversation on diversity and inclusion" and 3) Promotion of inclusive employability. Driven by the current pandemic context, these programmes are streamlined in a hybrid format, using digital platforms, thus enabling greater equity in access to information and communication.
