Abstract

This article is part of an experience, carried out in the Professional and Technological Education class of QualificarES, in the Municipality of Guarapari, Espírito Santo, with the use of the Active Methodology - Culture Maker in the Metaverse Environment. Participants were students from the Inventory and Storage Assistant and Receptionist courses, aged between 20 and 60 years old, and three students from the professional master’s degree in Professional and Technological Education, from Campus Vitória - Instituto Federal do Espírito Santo. There was a record in photographs, notes in the agenda, and through the Pollev software aiming at recording and organizing the facts that occurred. The theoretical framework that guided the work was Vygotsky's cultural-historical theory. The conclusions point to the importance of doing by the student - Culture Maker, involved in a conversation network in the Metaverse, for the construction of a cooperative environment, transforming social interaction into a learning process. The Culture Maker methodology favors the development of doing, and the Metaverse with the use of the Gather tool, interactions and exchanges in the group and Digital Technologies favor social interaction between students and teachers, contributing to the learning process.
