POLISSEMA - SPECIAL ISSUE 2024
2024The special issue of POLISSEMA (the first in the 24-year history of the Journal) brings together 24 contributions that link various thematic axes – from legal translation to the language of public administration and the use of new technologies, as well as the linguistic rights of foreigners and national minorities, reflecting some of the most productive intersections between language and law.
These manuscripts are the result of presentations made at the I Congress of Language and Law, held on October 26 and 27, 2023, a joint initiative of the Master's Program in Specialized Translation and Interpreting from ISCAP-P.PORTO and the Faculty of Law at the Universidade Católica do Porto, where speakers from over ten countries explored the close, complex, and multifaceted relationship between these two fields.
