Aims and Scope of the Journal

PRATICA – Multimedia Journal of Research in Pedagogical Innovation and e-Learning Practices is an open-access scientific publication whose main objective is to promote reflection and the dissemination of innovative practices in teaching and learning, with a particular focus on the integration of digital technologies in formal, non-formal, and informal educational contexts. The journal presents interdisciplinary contributions that explore emerging pedagogical methodologies, student-centered teaching practices, virtual learning environments, teacher professional development, gamification, artificial intelligence in education, and other innovative approaches. It publishes articles in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, from both national and international authors.

Editorial Quality Control

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are first reviewed by the editorial team to assess their thematic and methodological suitability. Subsequently, they undergo a double-blind peer-review process carried out by at least two independent reviewers. The review includes an analysis of the originality, scientific rigor, clarity, and relevance of the contribution. Additional revisions may be requested whenever necessary. This process ensures the scientific integrity and quality of the published articles.

Fee Waiver Statement

PRATICA does not charge any fees for the submission, review, publication, or access to articles. The editorial process is entirely free of charge for authors.

Repository Policy

The journal allows the storage of published articles (final version, post-peer review) in institutional, thematic, or personal repositories immediately after publication. It is recommended that the full reference to the published article be included and that the same license be maintained. This policy complies with open-access principles.

Endogeny Policy

The journal ensures that fewer than 25% of the articles published in each issue are authored by individuals affiliated with the publishing institution, thereby guaranteeing diversity, impartiality, and openness of the editorial process to the national and international scientific community.
