Gamification in English classes in 1st CEB - the reward is learning
Gamification is a new methodological approach that provides new experiences, using the elements of the game. This could be a strong ally in the teaching of English in the 1st CEB. This paper is based on a project under the Master's Degree in English Teaching of 1st CEB and seeks to show that gamification can influence students' motivation and participation (Foncubierta & Rodríguez, 2015). A case study was conducted for a 4th grade class and the chosen data collection instruments were participant observation, field notes and content analysis.
