The primary aim of the following essay is to understand the cultural aspects underlying the business relations with the British society. For that purpose, this paper is organized into two main parts. The first part will concentrate on the Literature Review, which will give a theoretical support for all discussed ideas. Throughout this section, the importance of culture and its impact on the business world will be presented. Furthermore, notions of multiculturalism and interculturalism will be discussed. As a final step, some aspects of the British business relations will be approached. The second part, will approach the chosen Case-Study, namely the British Council. This section will include the historical background, the development path and the educational activities will be analysed.
