This article is based on the difficulties currently experienced by university students of Galician-Portuguese medieval literature in the study and knowledge of rhetoric, which in this case have as a didactic response the creation of a collaborative virtual glossary thanks to the possibilities offered by the Virtual Campus of the subject, a learning tool through which students will know how to define and identify the main rhetorical and literary terms, especially those related to Galician-Portuguese troubadourism.
The glossary is designed to be constructed sequentially by the students who, in small groups, start a work which is then shared with the whole class, opening up to joint interaction through comments and examples.
As we shall see in the following pages, this activity contemplates not only very relevant educational objectives for their training or the development of competences such as research, bibliographic search or, among others, working with databases, but also essential elements of cooperative learning such as personal accountability, positive interdependence between group members, co-responsibility for collective tasks or reflection on group work.
