Abstract

The Virtual Tour has as main objective to get the individual to know places without having to physically move to it and allows to create as much as possible the sense of reality of space.

The pandemic context has contributed to an explosion of digital resources, accelerating processes, such as digitization or teleworking, forcing people, teams and companies to rethink their working methods. With regard to the Cultural and Mesological world, it highlighted several weaknesses, one of them is the online presence and the use of the internet, many artists and institutions safeguarded themselves on social networks to be in contact with their audience. These networks will also evolve into the virtual world, to the Metaverse. There will be several virtual worlds some will interact with reality others not, soon we will have new worlds to explore and work on.

In such a scenario, Museums and similar institutions will have to adapt and activate their audiences in the continuity of technological evolution, being obliged to offer instigating digital content, benefiting from the connection too digital devices and digital social interconnection.

The applicability of virtual reality tools is enormous, not just for the exhibition, they are in fact tools that can give us a better understanding of what exists, what has already existed and what may exist. They are the next tools of knowledge.
