This article is based on a Participatory Action Research project developed in a LGBTI youth association, in a context of pandemic confinement. Critical citizenship and opportunities for confrontation with LGBTIphobia are brought into play, in a process of mutual recognition and learning through conversation that conceives education and social intervention as a commitment to fight social inequalities, where collective expression and the right to difference are put in the foreground. The specificities of youth associations and LGBTI rights are addressed from an exploratory perspective, in order to create conditions of sharing and collective construction in a context of pandemic confinement. The aim is to report on the project developed with a group of young LGBTI people, through discussion groups aimed at continuing and intensifying the processes of socialisation and sharing that the pandemic has made difficult, in an associative context.
