Abstract

The purpose of this qualitative investigation was to assess the capacity of the teacher-trainer, in the training course of trainers in GeoGebra for Angola, to manipulate and carry out simple applications of GeoGebra for the teaching of elementary mathematical topics in the phase of familiarization with the app. To achieve this purpose, through a case study, the tasks carried out individually by three teacher-trainees in this phase were intentionally selected. The results achieved in the evaluation of these tasks, with the help of the construction protocol of GeoGebra, showed clearly how these teachers were able to use different tools of the application and performed basic geometric constructions efficiently.
