With the suspension of classroom teaching activities in most African Portuguese Speaking Countries, caused by the pandemic of COVID-19, several possible scenarios have been considered, with the aim of ensuring a progressive stabilization of education in these countries. The present work aims to diagnose the main events associated with the disease of COVID-19 in the area of education in African Portuguese Speaking Countries in pandemic times. The methodology of this investigation is part of a quantitative and empirical-descriptive perspective, focusing on current events (Covid's disease-19). The results reveal that a large part of the member states adopted classes on television and radio for students to learn from their homes. Finally, the 2019/2020 academic year in African Portuguese Speaking Countries, already considered atypical and disturbed in the face of this phenomenon outside education, remains uncertain and highly dependent on the evolution of the COVID-19 pandemic.
