Abstract

Nowadays, teaching institutions have been increasingly using workgroups. These practices imply that the students get involve in learning process and assimilate the knowledge acquired in class, as well as other skills and competencies. During the workgroup assessment, the teacher will have to assess the work itself, but also the performance of each element of the group involved in its development. However, not every group member has the same performance, thus WebAVALIA was developed to meet this need. WebAVALIA is a self and peer assessment online platform, to assist the teacher ith the task of distinguish the performance of each workgroup member.
