The curricular unit of Community Physiotherapy has as its main objective the development of health promotion competences. This curricular unit involves a strong articulation with the community and real context learning opportunities, enhancing the transfer of acquired skills to professional field. The Problem-Based Learning pedagogical model favors a strong coordination between the different technical-scientific areas and gives the student a central role in learning process. In this paper, we reflect the curricular unit, after 9 years of implementation, focusing on the teaching methodology, the obtained results and the perception of students and professors.
