Dear teachers, researchers, and members of the scientific community,

In a global and changing world, education plays a central role in promoting social justice and sustainable development. Investigating and reflecting on "Creative Education: Maker Culture, STEAM and Sustainability" refers to innovative practices that value emerging technologies, analog and digital manufacturing, and renewed pedagogies with a focus on holistic approaches where the dialogue between Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and other areas of knowledge intersect to promote sustainability and know-how.  This edition aims to be a stimulus to theoretical studies and pedagogical practices that inspire the education of the future, by leading the student in the creation of innovative solutions in solving real problems, in the social commitment to the preservation of the planet, favoring interdisciplinary approaches that foster critical thinking, creativity and technological skills.

Objectives

Disseminate scientific research and reports of good practices focused on the relevance of topics that touch the development of solutions to global challenges, such as the climate crisis, inequality, and technological innovation, supported by Maker and STEAM approaches. In this way, it is intended to encourage readers to expand scientific knowledge on the subject to apply in their practices, in order to contribute to the formation of children and young people with a taste for learning how to learn, being more interventional.
