Abstract

This paper analyzes the case of the ecosystem coordinated by Telefónica and its Patners, which consists of a fully interconnected platform that generates network economies for all its participants. The selection of innovative business projects is carried out, which are offered the opportunity for commercial development in the area in which the members of this alliance operate. The good results of this project are backed by its portfolio of more than 400 startups, of which approximately 20% work with Telefónica. In addition, 20% of the startup portfolio has women incorporated into senior management, of which 70% are CEOs or founders (Telefónica, 2019)
