A (conceptual) discussion on the identification of solidarity economy organization’s associates between solidarity and competition

This theoretical nature article aims to urge the debate on the process of identification of the organization’s associates who compose the solidarity economy, presenting the concepts of identity and identification and describing the characteristics and principles pro solidarity economy, seeking a link between the two themes. As a result, by observing that the theory on identification analyzes the link between the subject and the organization, it is possible to subsidize the understanding on the relevance of the search for convergence between the attributes of the associates and the characteristics of solidarity ventures in view of a greater degree of identification and involvement with the institutional mission. By entering an organization which the aimed organizational identity is guided by principles and antagonistic values to those practiced on the major part of social and working spaces, the consistency between the values and beliefs of associates and those pro solidarity economy makes important.
