The sample was made up of 351 employees from organizations operating in Portugal. The results suggest that perceptions of followers around the three dimensions of leadership virtuousness (value-based leadership, perseverance and maturity) contribute to OC, especially its affective and normative aspects, and that the last one, in is turn, is able to positively influence individual performance.
