Performance management model proposal of the human resources activity

The main objective of this paper is to present a Human Capital Scorecard proposal, integrated with a performance management model of the Human Resources activity, applied to a manufacturing company of metal packaging and plastics solutions. Theoretical models of organizational and Human Resources performance management were analyzed, such as Balanced Scorecard and Human Capital Management for the XXI Century, and paramount to this research. Analysis of the company documents, interviewees and the internship developed within the Human Resources corporate department of the company allowed the collection of data. The results obtained allow us to conclude about the existence of an alignment between the company strategy and the strategy of Human Resources corporate department. The main outcome of this research is the proposal of a Scorecard of the Human Resources Activity, which is supposed to contribute to the development of sustained Human Resources management processes, highlightening the contribution of this activity to organizational value.
