The articulation between teaching, research, and extension is a constitutional principle of Brazilian universities, but its implementation faces structural challenges and remains poorly documented in the field of Library and Information Science. This research examines how the teaching-research-extension triad has been articulated in the activities developed within the TASSIA Project, which develops and disseminates a free software repository for Assistive Technology. The research adopts a qualitative and quantitative approach, employing bibliographic, documentary, and participant observation techniques. Institutional records and access metrics for the repository and the project's Instagram profile were analyzed. The research documents an experience of gradual integration of the triad in the field of Library and Information Science. Research efforts structure the development of the repository; teaching manifests itself through the inclusion of students in research and extension activities; and extension enables the provision of the TASSIA Repository and scientific dissemination on Assistive Technology. The metrics indicate growth in reach and engagement with the products.
