Psychology at Multicultural Organizations

The constant development and progression of society imply an evolution and optimization of organizations and their workers. The fact that an organization emphasizes cultural diversity enables individuals from other cultures to strengthen their potential in an integral and dignified way without arbitrary limits regarding group identities. To promote the integration of citizens into organizations, it is imperative to mention the importance of the organizational climate and culture since the organizational climate is the direct result of good organizational culture management. Effective management of cultural diversity is crucial, as it leads to an increment in job satisfaction. In so being, the organizational psychologist has a crucial role in ensuring the specific needs of minority populations and cultures in the organization in order to promote the well-being of all the people involved. Therefore, it is essential to strengthen the need to implement intervention programs and policies specializing in interdisciplinary work. Therefore, the organizational psychologist can play a decisive role in providing the fundamental tools so that diversity is not seen as a problem or friction but rather as a source of cooperation between the members of each organization
