Continuing with other studies, both by us and by other researchers, we intend
with this article to reflect on the importance of multicultural images, questioning the
contributions of the use of two and three-dimensional drawing techniques – manual or digital.
We pretend to understand how these techniques enrich children and young people arts education
in an integrated and holistic perspective through the implementation of new projects through
media promoting activities focused on the creative process on each child or young people
specific skills involved and the use of media as a complement or substitute for freehand
drawing. Nowadays the digital dimension integrated in education not only provides
transversality but also opens opportunities for artistic interconnectivities that contemplate
reality and allow a scope that leads to the enhancement of multiculturalism. Recognizing and
accepting other cultures enriches the human being since it implies a human local and global
ecology that undoubtedly contributes to a broad consistent and conscious citizenship, necessary
for the human being formation. Therefore, investigation enhances the teaching-learning process by the transversalities found/created as well as by the constructed artistic interconnectivities.
Our research seeks to interconnect different transfers of artistic content in different educational
and civic communities
