Abstract

Social skills assessment allows planning a more tailored intervention which meets the needs presented by individual. Objective: present a systematic studies review reporting a social abilities evaluation. Method: this research was made in RCAAP, between 2008 and June/2016. Results: On an early stage, 21 articles were selected from a starting point of 79, for a later reading, understanding and analysis. The results say that HIS it ́s the most common instrument used for social skills evaluation, among various contexts, regarding various types of studies with such different variables. Conclusions: It should be possible to find in Portugal a version of HIS to allow a better comparison of the obtained results in each type of study, as far as researchers and clinics define this area of social abilities evaluation and training as being full of interest and clinical richness.
