The present article intends to present a brief description of the profiles of the various generations since the beginning of the 20th century, namely: Babyboomers, Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z and Generation Alpha. Our research aims to try to understand the public with whom we have been, are and will be confronted as teachers. Before we look at each one, it seems pertinent to try to understand the most relevant common features of the public with whom we develop our praxis. In the search for a possible answer to the problems arising from the massification of education, the knowledge of the main traits of the most recent generations leads us, then, to the search for educational theories that allow us to meet the profiles and generic learning styles of today's students. It is in this context that we highlight two theories with which we identify: Connectivism and B-Learning.
