About the Journal

POLISSEMA – ISCAP Journal of Letters (Porto Accounting and Business School of the Polytechnic of Porto) is an annual journal, published since 2001 and, as of 2019, exclusively available in an online version. It is indexed in Latindex, EBSCO, MIAR, Google Scholar and RCAAP.

POLISSEMA is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal. It aims to disseminate pedagogical and scientific activity in the field of the Humanities, namely Translation, Interpretation, Localization, Linguistics, Languages for Specific Purposes, Technologies Applied to Language Teaching, Translation and Interpreting, Technical Communication, Multimodal Communication, Creative Writing, among others.

POLISSEMA is an open-access journal, under the license CC Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0,  which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful and non-commercial purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.
