Abstract
The dichotomy between higher education and the labour market is an outdated paradigm. This article argues that the dual experience, the structured integration of study and work, is not merely an economic necessity, but an essential mechanism for vocational validation and reorientation. Through the integration of experiential learning, the mobilization of tacit knowledge, and the latest trends in skills-first hiring, it is demonstrated that this experience allows practice to be transformed into a strategic asset for professional identity. The study consequently implies that educational institutions should integrate applied components early on and that employers should reformulate their selection processes to recognize and value accumulated experiential capital. This approach reduces the risk of professional frustration, promoting a conscious and sustainable course correction during the academic journey.
