In a business environment characterized by uncertainty, change, and increasing interdependence among teams, nonverbal communication plays a key role in leadership. This article critically examines how nonverbal signals contribute to building trust and security, motivating employees, and fostering empathetic closeness between leaders and teams. The discussion combines theoretical and practical perspectives, highlighting that the effectiveness of signals depends on the leader's authenticity, and the organizational context. It concludes that nonverbal language is a strategic relational skill, relevant for effective and sustainable leadership, which requires critical reflection, adaptation, and sensitivity.
