Is empathy the "brain of the operation" in organizations?

Nowadays, empathy is an overly saturated term. We often hear about the importance of being empathetic, but we do not always know how to practice it. This article presents a critical analysis of the concept of empathy and its different forms, drawing on studies conducted by qualified authors in the field of psychology. Additionally, this literary composition explores the concept of “compassion fatigue,” the impact of empathy on organizational success, and how an organizational leader can manage this skill to benefit both the business and the well-being of employees.
