Abstract
Memes are everywhere. You just have to look closely. In the world of football, it is more and more a tool to be used. Whether on tiktok, instagram, twitter, or any other social network, it seems to be more and more a trend that is here to stay. Characterized by the few financial and human requirements that it requires, it is normally used by small clubs. It is an unconventional marketing technique that aims to differentiate and stand out from the competition. But is it a strategy that has positive results? What is the impact on the sporting community? Is it the right path for sports marketing?
