Portugal aos olhos internacionais

When we talk about a country, it is important not to forget that although it is not an organisation, each country also has an identity, image and even notoriety in both external and internal publics.
In this article I will talk about Portugal, with the aim of understanding how different the vision that various publics have about our country can be.
It is very important that the national identity, with which the portuguese nation identifies, in general, is passed from generation to generation, so that the country does not lose its history and culture, which are determinant to create notoriety and project the image of the country and the portuguese.
We cannot forget also that one of the great internal publics of the country are immigrants, who choose Portugal as a destination to live, raise a family, open businesses or even as a tourist spot to spend holidays.
Through a short questionnaire made to immigrants who live in Portugal and intend to stabilise their lives in our country, we will also find out the biggest difficulties they had when entering, the reasons why they chose Portugal and also their point of view regarding whether or not Portugal is a viable country for their future.
I chose this theme with the aim of showing the public that sometimes the circumstances of life take us away from the place we call home, the place where we were born and raised, and that the country that welcomed us can become a true home and shelter. Today, with much pride and love, I call Portugal my home!
