Since prehistory, the sense of sight has been the most useful sense for perception and communication between human beings. Since the existence of humanity, there has been a development of vision before speech or hearing, which has made the visual aspect the essential basis of communication. This visual communication, which allows the exchange of information between people without the need for words, is also the most effective nowadays, in a digital age where a video captures much more attention than an audio. In this article, I present the concepts of design and communication, how they emerged, and how they are interconnected.
