This research brings together doctoral theses from Brazil on the subject of indigenous women in ethnographic studies, presenting an articulated summary of important works in this field to serve as a reference and debate for those interested in researching the subject. Its objective is to analyze the scientific production of doctoral theses in Brazil on the theme of indigenous women using ethnographic methodology. The research is descriptive, using bibliographical research techniques and is qualitative in nature. To this end, a bibliographic survey was carried out in the ibict oasis database with the terms “indigenous women”, delimiting the search by subject field, by the type of document thesis and by year of publication between 2019 and 2024. The results indicate that the subject is still emerging. It is therefore considered necessary to expand the literature in the area and suggest new studies.
