According to the United Nations (UN) Agenda 2030, access to quality education - inclusive and with continuous learning opportunities for all - represents one of the main learning objectives to be improved to achieve sustainable development. Our objective was to determine, through a statistical analysis with data from more than 30 European Union countries, to what extent access to quality education could have a correlation or impact on the improvement of other socioeconomic objectives proposed in the UN 2030 Agenda, such as poverty eradication or gender equality. The results obtained indicated that there isn’t a strong correlation between the level of education and the risk of poverty and social exclusion (although there is a trend) as well as no significant differences between the level of education and gender.
