The manifestations of May '68 completely changed the course of France forever, not only had an impact on the whole society, but especially on women. Due to the negative meaning of feminism throughout the years, feminists are put in the same categorization, independently of the century, which is an incorrect assumption. The purpose of this paper is to approach the events occurred in that era, with an open understanding of the concepts of feminism and what lead to the Mouvement de Libération des Femmes (MLF) in France.
