Abstract

It is intended, through this article, to determine what the diatopical hermeneutics consists of and how this notion will be enriched if it is based on some basic premises of the epistemologies of the South. In a first phase, it will be made an incursion through fundamental concepts, such as abyssal thinking, post-abyssal thinking, the ecology of knowledge and multicultural human rights. In a second phase, the notion of diatopical hermeneutics will be framed in the light of these concepts, establishing its importance for the issues of multiculturality, interculturality and epistemological diversity.
