Abstract

"Falam Casebres de Pescadores" is an example of the poetry of denunciation with its raw descriptions of the most minute and underprivileged layers of society. The text of "Falam Casebres de Pescadores" seems to be a pretext for socio-cultural analysis in order to have an immediate impact on the reader. The sea is presented here in a totally different light, as a source of poverty and unhappiness. Through the analysis of the stanzas we get the national scenario of tiny hope and calamitous tragedy, which the history of the time seems to mimic.
