Abstract

This article aims to show how Brazilian compulsory education has been linked to the country songbook, considering its richness and the interest of Brazilians in music. Maybe it stands out in the Brazilian produced music panorama a penchant for the love song that, according to recent material demonstrations, approaches the musical universe to the poetic one.
