Intercultural Studies in the film Boy in Striped Pyjamas

Abstract

In the scope of the Curricular Unit of Intercultural Studies, it was proposed by the teacher Carla Avelino the elaboration of the present work about the analysis of a film from the point of view of the notion of culture and the intercultural representations, themes approached during the course. The methodology used for the development of this work was the selection of a film and, afterwards, its analysis in relation to the themes approached during the classes. The film selected was "The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas" by John Boyde.
