Analysis of the film "The Help" which relates the cultural differences of the upper class vs the lower class and consequently the ethnicities involved in them. The film focuses on the life of a young white woman and her relationship with her black maids, the book being written by the maids and relating the constant racism they suffered working for white families. With the story taking place in the United States of America, topics such as civil rights and their reforms are covered. This analysis focuses a lot on stereotypes and power and social construction and the film has led to many controversies.
