With this paper I intend to analyse the Cinderella story, according to the contents taught in the subject of Intercultural Studies. The choice of the theme for this work did not have a conditioning or relevant factor, however, for me, this tale has always been attractive. Upon rereading the story, I realised that I could fit it perfectly into what I was given. Thus, the decision was quick, although I knew perfectly well that it would not be easy to do the research on which to base my opinions or assertions. With this, then, I intend to talk about the thought structures that existed when the short story was written, contextualising it properly. I also intend to frame it within folklore culture, since being a children's story that has existed for a long time, being created completely by the people and for their use, it fits into this category. Thus, knowing that the Cinderella tale, where the main character goes by the name of "Cinderella", has several versions, the one which will be analysed is the one by the Brothers Grimm, written in Germany in the 19th century.
