From the Poetic Image to the Interartistic Dialogue

Abstract

In the poetry of Luiza Neto Jorge there is a real poetic look, a kind of power of incantation that allows the continuity of links establishment with thevisual arts. From this surrealistic basic premise is intended to relate to poetry of Luiza Neto Jorge with painting,cinema, music, theater,sculptureand architecture. In poetical trials of the twentieth century, inthe creation of the poem as a verbal matter,the role of the image becomes to present and no more torepresente. Based on the definition of André Breton,the image counter to the harmonious concept of traditional beauty, mating contradictory realities and getting a delusional, fantastic and even diabolical character.
