In this article I will analyze the historical novel Anna Göldin. Letzte Hexe by the Swiss author Eveline Hasler. Anna Göldin was the last woman to be killed for witch craft in Switzerland. The analysis will be made considering the concept of intertextuality defined by Aguiar e Silva in his Teoria da Literatura. The aim of this article is to find the reasons why the writer included this type of narrative technique in her writing.
