Abstract

"Società della discordia" - a book resulting from the collaboration between professionals and scholars of educational sciences, in an open approach to confrontation and interdisciplinarity - attempts to answer the following basic question: How to face the conflict? The first part of the book presents conflicts, their basic theories and management strategies. In the second part, we move on to mediation and its various aspects. The importance of the various social actors in the school context is taken into consideration. The conclusion is a dialogue between the authors of the work on conflict mediation.
