It focuses on the memoir by the author Karen Blixen, where she describes habits, cultures and rituals of different African peoples. This book and its successor offer the reader an extremely insightful perspective on British colonialism in East Africa. Through the textual fabric, the author demonstrates her admiration and love for the continent. This article presents a dual observation: on the one hand, the author's life and on the other hand, the themes of interculturality.
