Abstract

“Comparative Alumni Management Models: ISCAP – Polytechnic of Porto and School of Management – PUCP” presents a comparative study of alumni management practices in two higher education institutions located in Europe and Latin America. The research examines how alumni management is structured, managed, and aligned with institutional strategic objectives in different cultural and organizational contexts.         Using a qualitative multiple-case study approach, the project explores three main dimensions of alumni management: strategic, operational, and relational. The study analyzes aspects such as institutional commitment, alumni engagement, communication strategies, mentoring programs, networking initiatives, career services, and lifelong learning opportunities. The goal is to identify similarities, differences, and best practices that can support the development of effective alumni management models across institutions.
