Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The authors retain the copyright for their published work.

Aims and scope of the journal

ICAReAlumni Conference Proceedings is a peer-reviewed publication that includes selected papers presented at the annual ICAReAlumni conference. It focuses on alumni relations and career development, and welcomes contributions from practitioners and academics. The publication aims to promote an accessible and inclusive learning community by addressing the challenges and opportunities in alumni- and career-related practices in educational institutions, non-profit organizations and business sectors that are committed to building and sustaining cultures of alumni engagement.

 

Editorial quality control

All articles submitted will be subject to a preliminary assessment to ensure their suitability and full compliance with the journal's submission rules. The following criteria will also be assessed: relevance to the call for papers (where applicable), alignment with the objectives and scope of the journal, and the structure and content of the scientific article.Articles that meet these requirements will be sent for peer review.The editorial team bases its recommendations on the academic quality of the article, its originality and its relevance to the call for papers (where applicable) and the scope of the journal. Possible editorial decisions include: Accept for publication without further revision; Accept with minor revisions; Revise and resubmit; Reject. Authors are informed of the editorial decision once the review process has been completed.
