O futuro da profissão de contabilista na Era da Inteligência Artificial: automação, ética e reconfiguração do trabalho

A expansão do uso da Inteligência Artificial na contabilidade e auditoria é frequentemente apresentada como uma ameaça às profissões baseadas em tarefas rotineiras, mas a literatura aponta para uma transformação mais complexa do que a sua substituição. O presente artigo defende que a profissão de contabilista não está em extinção, sendo antes profundamente transformada pela automação de tarefas e pela reconfiguração do trabalho para funções analíticas e de apoio à decisão. A Inteligência Artificial desloca o valor do processamento para a gestão de informação e mediação entre dados e decisões, exigindo um papel ativo na supervisão ética e na validação de sistemas. Esta evolução implica requalificação contínua, integrando competências técnicas, interpessoais e de comunicação estratégica, redefinindo o contabilista como consultor de confiança.
