O impacto do TikTok no comportamento de consumo na indústria da beleza e da moda

Resumo

Num contexto digital caracterizado pela crescente centralidade das redes sociais, o TikTok tem vindo a transformar significativamente o comportamento de consumo, especialmente nas indústrias da beleza e da moda. Com a popularidade do formato de vídeo curto e a crescente precisão dos algoritmos personalizados, esta rede social consegue desenvolver e catapultar tendências de forma quase instantânea e acaba por tornar os conteúdos, orgânicos ou publicitados, mais persuasivos. Neste artigo, analisamos de que forma esta dinâmica contribui para a aceleração do processo de decisão de compra, tornando-o mais imediato, emocional e orientado pela validação social. São explorados diversos fenómenos, evidenciando o seu impacto direto na intenção de compra. Como contributo, demonstra-se que, apesar das oportunidades criadas para as marcas ao nível da proximidade e conversão, o TikTok levanta também desafios relevantes, nomeadamente o aumento do consumo impulsivo e a necessidade de promover práticas mais conscientes e responsáveis no ambiente digital.
